Meet the V5 PowerLine Slicer!

The new edition of the original Borner V/Slicer, the V5 PowerLine enables you to work more safely, precisely, and quickly than ever before. The three adjustable inserts offer a wide range of cutting options: from slices and julienne sticks in four different thicknesses, and cubes either diced or finely minced, for a total of ten different cutting options.

The stainless-steel blades are laser-sharpened, to make sure you get the quality a true German product can offer. The safety handle and rubber feet will ensure seamless, hassle-free, and easy usage. The plastic is non-toxic, BPA free, and will maintain its color.

You will also receive a safety holder to assure safe cutting, with no waste.

ALWAYS USE THE SAFETY HOLDER WHEN HANDLING ANY BORNER SLICER.

Here's how it works:

To release the V-slicer from its blade-protection setting, push the black button on the side of the slicer and pull back the slicing insert until it aligns with the arrows on the side. This is the thickest slicing position. Light pressure forward advances the insert to one of the 3 thinner slicing positions, each confirmed by a clicking sound. Notice the images on the insert itself – it will show you which setting you are using.  The final position forward returns the V-slicer to the blade-protection setting, or locked setting, where the blades are visibly covered and cutting is impossible.

This setting should always be used when finished working with the V-slicer, for the safety of children and adults alike. The button release mechanism insures an even higher level of safety for you and your family. The product should always be stored in locked position!

To change inserts, press the release button and pull the slicing insert back to the point where its arrows align with the arrows on the side of the slicer body; then simply lift out one insert, align the new insert's arrows with the side arrows, and press straight down to lock.

The insert with the smaller blades will do the julienne and mincing, while the insert with the larger blades will do the cubing (dicing) and thicker strips.

After use, simply clean under running water.

Saves time

Bought as a gift for my fiancé about two months ago. This is our first mandolin. It took a little bit of getting used to it. Now, it saves time on a weekly basis for slicing things. Prep time is roughly half of what it used to be when all of the slicing was done with a knife. Great investment for people who cook at home a lot! We are really happy with it.

Not satisfied

I tried to contact you regarding problems with order, but your website or your company works very slowly regarding responding. The stuff which I have ordered doesn’t cut properly and doesn’t work good. It looks like not made in Germany at all. I will contact your head office in Germany and will complain regarding your work. The both cutters should be replaced or returned. We were waiting for your response for a while
